"Fatal Atlantic City Boardwalk Fire Prompts Investigation and Damages Businesses"

A 67-year-old man, identified as Bruce Elder, was killed in a fire that started near a small homeless encampment under the Atlantic City boardwalk. The fire, which was intentionally set but doesn't appear to be a criminal act, damaged the boardwalk and arcade above. More than 50 firefighters responded to the blaze, which broke out after 7 p.m., and worked for hours to get it under control. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries, and the investigation into Elder's death is pending an autopsy.
