"Arrested: SC State Student's Involvement in Campus Lockdown and Shots Fired Incident"

A student at South Carolina State University was charged after the campus went on lockdown due to a report of shots fired in an academic building. The student, sophomore Rolando J. Ifill, was arrested and charged with carrying a firearm on school property. Another university, Claflin University, also went on lockdown after an SCSU student sought safety there. Campus police are investigating the incident with the assistance of the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division.
