Woman Sentenced to Jail for Stealing Ashley Biden's Diary

A Florida woman, Aimee Harris, has been sentenced to one month in prison and three years of probation for stealing and selling President Biden’s daughter Ashley Biden’s diary to the conservative group Project Veritas for $20,000. The judge called Harris’s actions "despicable," and she tearfully apologized during the sentencing. Harris must also forfeit the money she earned from the sale. The diary was made public shortly before the 2020 general election, and the FBI launched an investigation into how it ended up in Project Veritas's hands. Harris's sentencing was delayed multiple times, and she was told to report to prison in July.
