"Slender Man Attacker Morgan Geyser Seeks Conditional Release Hearing"

Morgan Geyser, one of the two women involved in the 2014 Slender Man attack, has requested conditional release from the Winnebago Mental Health Institute. A Wisconsin judge will hold a hearing in April to consider this request, appointing three psychiatric experts to examine her current mental condition and produce reports by March 1. Geyser and Anissa Weier were 12 years old when they lured a classmate to a park and stabbed her to please the fictional character Slender Man. Weier was granted conditional release in 2021, and Geyser pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree intentional homicide and was sent to the psychiatric institute.
