'Rust' Armorer Testifies About Alec Baldwin's Handling of Gun Before Fatal Shooting

Behind-the-scenes footage from the set of "Rust" shows Alec Baldwin using a gun as a "pointing stick" and rushing the film's armorer to reload his weapon for a second take. The footage was presented during the trial against armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who is accused of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. A veteran armorer testified that safety procedures were overlooked, with Baldwin firing blanks too close to camera operators and instructing the armorer in an unsafe manner. Gutierrez-Reed is accused of loading a live round instead of a blank into the gun used by Baldwin. Baldwin is separately facing manslaughter charges for firing the gun that killed Hutchins, with his trial expected to begin in July.
