"Maine Murder Suspect Arrested and Shot in Arkansas Following Police Chase and Shootout"

Spridal Hubiak, a 20-year-old wanted for murder in Maine, was arrested in Arkansas after a police chase and an exchange of gunfire. Hubiak, who was found sleeping in a parking lot, fled when approached by police and was eventually stopped using spike strips. After crashing his vehicle, he emerged with a rifle and was shot multiple times by a deputy. He survived and is expected to live. An investigation is underway to determine the legality of the use of deadly force by the officer.
