Former US ambassador and NSC member, Victor Manuel Rocha, has been charged with acting as a secret agent for communist Cuba for over 40 years, allegedly working to gather intelligence and affect US foreign policy. Rocha, a naturalized US citizen originally from Colombia, used his positions within the US government to obtain classified information and support Cuba's clandestine intelligence-gathering mission. He has agreed to plead guilty to two charges of conspiring to act as an agent of a foreign government, with prosecutors dismissing more than a dozen other charges in exchange for his guilty plea.
