Attacker of Nevada Judge Faces Additional Charges

Deobra Delone Redden, who attacked a Nevada judge in a viral courtroom video, was sentenced to up to four years in prison for an unrelated attempted battery charge. The judge, Mary Kay Holthus, confirmed that she was not changing the sentence she was in the process of imposing before the attack. Redden, diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, could face additional charges related to the courtroom attack and has a history of violent criminal convictions.
