The fire started on Saturday evening and caused significant damage to the buildings, including apartment units. All residents were safely evacuated, and there were no reported injuries. Local firefighters, with the help of off-duty personnel, battled the blaze, which is believed to have originated in Lowoods. The community has launched a GoFundMe campaign, surpassing the initial goal of $20,000 and raising over $55,000 to support the affected businesses.
