MDG Construction sues Montgomery Whitewater for millions

Two lawsuits have been filed against the Montgomery County Community Cooperative District, which owns the Montgomery Whitewater park, seeking millions of dollars for unpaid construction work. One of the lawsuits is also accusing the cooperative of engaging in racist behavior. The lawsuits are seeking $4.2 million and $3.014 million, respectively. The hearing for the latter lawsuit has been pushed back twice. The courts need to decide who has the right to file the lawsuits on behalf of the construction company, MDG. Whitewater park representatives declined to comment.
