Iconic Quimby's Bookstore in Wicker Park Hits the Market After 30 Years

Quimby's Bookstore, a beloved independent bookstore in Chicago's Wicker Park, is up for sale after more than 30 years. Owner Eric Kirsammer, who has run the store since 1996, decided to sell following the departure of longtime manager Liz Mason. Quimby's is renowned for its unique collection of self-published and independent works, including zines and graphic novels. Kirsammer hopes to find a buyer who will continue the store's mission of supporting small press and independent creators.
