Body of Missing Boater Found in Green Lake Co.

A body matching that of missing angler Richard Mickelson has been discovered in Lake Sakakawea, roughly a mile and a half southeast of the Van Hook ramp. The body was found by a passing boater and has been transported to the state forensic examiner's office for identification. Mountrail County Sheriff Corey Bristol expressed gratitude to the agencies and citizens involved in the search and has personally informed Mickelson's family.
