Puppy survives being thrown from car during high-speed LAPD chase.

During a high-speed police chase in Los Angeles, a puppy was thrown out of a moving pickup truck in a Michael Kors designer bag. The eight-week-old mixed breed miraculously survived and was rescued by responding officers. The puppy is now in the care of South Los Angeles Animal Services pending an investigation into the abandonment during the chase. Three people were arrested in connection to the chase, including one for attempted murder and carjacking.
