Boaters Save Lives After Plane Crash in Lake Tahoe

A small plane crashed into Lake Tahoe, and two people on board were rescued by a boater who quickly responded to the incident. The fuselage of the plane was vertical when the boater arrived, but to his surprise, two heads popped up. The NTSB and FAA are investigating the crash, which involved a single-engine Piper PA-28. The boater and other nearby boaters helped triage the injured passengers before safely getting them back to shore. The FAA is expected to release a preliminary accident report soon.
