Miraculous Escape: Navy Plane Overshoots Runway, Lands Safely in Ocean with All 9 Aboard Unharmed

A U.S. Navy P-8A aircraft overshot a runway at a Marine base in Hawaii and ended up in Kaneohe Bay, but all nine people on board escaped unharmed. The Coast Guard responded but rescue operations were quickly called off. The P-8A is used for submarine hunting, reconnaissance, and intelligence gathering. The cause of the incident is unknown.
