Fatal Explosion at Hornady Plant Claims One Life, Injures Others

The victim of the deadly explosion at the Hornady Manufacturing plant near Grand Island has been identified as 32-year-old Adriana Alvarez. Two other employees were injured but have since been treated and released. The explosion, which occurred during the mixing process of the primer compound, was determined to be accidental. Hornady Manufacturing, a long-time Grand Island business, expressed their condolences and stated that the incident was isolated to their primer facility and did not affect other manufacturing facilities. The State Fire Marshal Agency has completed its investigation.
