Multiple Partial Parking Garage Collapses in Riverside Hospital Spark Investigation

An investigation is underway after a partial collapse of a parking garage at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside in Jacksonville. Seventy-five firefighters responded to the incident, and no one was found trapped. However, a structural engineer is needed to ensure the safety of the garage before further searching can be done. The entrance to the emergency room and the parking garage will remain closed, and adjacent buildings will be condemned until a structural engineer can stabilize the structure.
