Tragic Fall Claims Father of 5 at Multnomah Falls

A 40-year-old man died after falling at least 100 feet while hiking with his wife and five children at Multnomah Falls in Oregon. The family had hiked about a half mile up the trail when the father slipped or stumbled, sliding down a steep hill and falling off a cliff. The man was found dead about 45 minutes later. Multnomah Falls is Oregon's tallest waterfall and a popular recreation site, attracting about 2 million visitors annually.
