Tragic drowning claims Kansas City man at Lake of the Ozarks

A Kansas City man, James D. Roy, drowned at Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, which occurred near a moored vessel at the 43 mile marker along Bollinger Creek Cove. Roy was last seen before going under the water and did not resurface. The cause of his entry into the water remains unclear.
