Tragic Double Hit-and-Run Claims Life of 79-Year-Old Woman in Brooklyn

A 79-year-old woman, identified as Yvonne Sandiford, was killed in Brooklyn after being struck by two different vehicles in a hit-and-run incident. The first vehicle, a grey Nissan Rogue, hit Sandiford and dragged her down the road, while the second vehicle, a white Toyota Sienna, hit her as she lay on the road. Both drivers fled the scene without stopping to check on her. Sandiford, a beloved matriarch of a large family, had been living in Brooklyn since 1991. Her family is devastated and pleading for the drivers to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
