Tragic Accident Claims Maine Woman's Life

A 16-year-old boy struck and killed a 74-year-old woman who was walking along a road in Windham, Maine. The driver, whose name was not released due to his age, was heading south in a Toyota Tacoma when he hit Deborah Livengood, who was walking north. Livengood died from her injuries at the hospital. The crash is still under investigation, but police believe the driver was not paying attention. This marks at least the sixth pedestrian fatality in Maine this year.
