School Bus and Tanker Collide in Lexington County: Watch the Video

A Lexington County school bus carrying 43 students and one driver collided with a tanker truck at an intersection, resulting in 17 students and the bus driver being taken to the hospital and later released. The school district is cooperating with the South Carolina Highway Patrol's investigation and conducting their own. The video footage shows the school bus stopping briefly before the stop sign, then driving into the intersection in front of the tanker truck. The driver of the bus will remain on administrative leave pending the outcomes of the investigations.
