Multiple Tanker Incidents Cause Major Highway Closures in Maryland

Northbound lanes of I-795 in Pikesville, Maryland were shut down after a fiery tanker crash. The driver was transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, and the extent of their injuries is unclear. The crash happened at the I-795 northwest expressway at the I-695 outer loop near exit 19. Southbound lanes have since reopened, but Maryland State Police are investigating the crash. The MTA has suspended Metro SubwayLink service between Owings Mills and Old Court stations, and a bus bridge will be in place from Owings Mills to Milford Mills.
