The parapet of six storefronts in Old Mill Basin, Brooklyn collapsed on Sunday evening, causing no official injuries. The Department of Buildings and FDNY responded to the scene, checking the buildings' structural stability and removing debris. The collapse was called in for a print shop called Palette BK and impacted businesses spanning the addresses 5801-5815. The owner has been issued a violation for failure to maintain the building and has been ordered to install a construction fence and contract a professional engineer for a full report.
