Massachusetts State Trooper Injured in I-93 Crashes

A Massachusetts State Trooper was struck by a vehicle while responding to a car crash on I-93 in Milton. The trooper was standing outside his cruiser investigating the initial crash when he was hit by the approaching vehicle. Both the trooper and the driver of the vehicle were transported to hospitals with non life-threatening injuries. All travel lanes except one were closed off for hours but have since reopened. The crash is under investigation.
