Investigation underway into multiple fatal crashes in Kansas City area

A passenger died in a two-vehicle collision in Kansas City, Missouri, on Saturday night, prompting an investigation into impairment. The crash occurred when a white Hyundai Accent traveling at a high rate of speed struck a white Dodge Grand Caravan making a left turn. The impact caused the Dodge to spin into a rock wall, resulting in the death of a rear passenger who was partially ejected and pinned between the vehicle and the wall. Both drivers sustained moderate injuries, and the driver of the Hyundai is being investigated for impairment.
