Fatal Wrong-Way Crash on I-280 in Woodside: Woman Dead, 2 Injured

A woman was killed and a 14-year-old boy was injured in a wrong-way crash on southbound Interstate 280 in Woodside, California. The crash involved a white Ford sedan traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of the freeway and a black BMW. The driver of the Ford was arrested and transported to a hospital with minor injuries. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Two southbound lanes of 280 were closed while CHP investigated but have since reopened.
