Fatal Tragedy: Two Killed by MAX Train in Restricted TriMet Area

Two individuals were struck and killed by a MAX train in Portland after jumping over a barrier into a restricted TriMet area to retrieve a car part following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 84. The incident prompted the closure of westbound lanes on I-84 and the use of shuttle buses for MAX passengers.
