Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Navasota's Highway 6.

A pedestrian was fatally struck by a commercial motor vehicle on Highway 6 in Navasota, Texas. The truck driver attempted to avoid the pedestrian and lost control, rolling into a ditch. The cause of the crash is under investigation. The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries, while the pedestrian passed away on the scene. Highway 6 southbound traffic is being detoured to the feeder road north of Highway 90, and the entrance ramp at Highway 90 onto Highway 6 is closed.
