Fatal Motorcycle Crashes on Highways Near Lincoln and Wyoming County

A motorcyclist was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 6 near I-80 in Lancaster County, Nebraska. The crash occurred when a group of three motorcycles were traveling behind two cars that were traveling side-by-side. Both cars slowed down, causing one of the motorcyclists to abruptly brake, resulting in a chain reaction crash. The 55-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two motorcyclists were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is under investigation, and anyone with information is urged to contact the sheriff's office.
