Fatal Head-On Collision in Western Jefferson County Claims Driver's Life

A Pleasant Grove man, identified as 46-year-old Roger Keith Preston, was killed in a head-on collision on Taylor's Ferry Road in western Jefferson County. The crash involved a Chevrolet Trail Blazer and a GMC Sierra in the eastbound lane. The driver of the Sierra was transported to UAB Hospital, and the cause of the crash is under investigation by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team.
