Fatal Crash on I-196 near Saugatuck Leaves One Dead and One Injured

One person was killed and another injured in a fatal crash on northbound I-196 near Saugatuck, Michigan. The driver lost control of the pickup truck after a tire blew, causing the vehicle to roll in the median. Both people inside were thrown from the vehicle, and no seat belts were worn. The passenger, a 29-year-old Holland man, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver, a 32-year-old Zeeland man, was taken to the hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
