Fatal Crash in Des Moines Linked to High Speed, Claim Police

Two residents of Des Moines were killed in a car crash on the city's east side, involving a Buick Century and a Chevy Camaro. The Camaro, driven by an 18-year-old, was traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with the Buick, causing it to hit a utility pole and overturn. The driver of the Camaro was not injured. The crash is under investigation.
