Fatal Crash Claims Three Lives in Franklin County

Three people have died and two others have been injured in a single-vehicle crash in Benton, Illinois. The crash is currently under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office with assistance from the Illinois State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit. The community is rallying together, with the mayors of Benton and West Frankfort offering condolences and support, and the Immanuel Baptist Church opening its doors for prayer. A candlelight vigil is scheduled for Sunday evening.
