Fatal Accident Shuts Down I-24 in Murfreesboro

A 19-year-old, Bianca Benford, was killed in a head-on crash on Interstate 24 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, after her vehicle crossed the median and struck another car. Benford was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash. The 50-year-old driver of the other car sustained injuries, and the westbound lanes of I-24 were temporarily closed but have since reopened.
