"Indiana State Trooper Critically Injured in I-65 Accident"

An Indiana State Trooper, identified as 22-year-old Azariah Keith, was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while assisting a motorist on I-65 southbound in Indianapolis. The driver, 22-year-old Armaandeep Singh, was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing serious bodily injury, operating a vehicle with an ACE of .15 or more, and reckless driving. Keith is currently in stable but serious condition at Eskenazi Hospital, and the incident caused significant traffic tie-ups in the area.
