Hot Air Balloon Collides with Power Lines, Ignites Highway Brush Fire

A hot air balloon attempting to land in Rochester, MN, crashed into power lines near a highway, causing a small brush fire. Dramatic video captured the balloon hitting the power lines and the basket disconnecting, plummeting to the ground. Despite the terrifying ordeal, all three occupants only sustained minor injuries. The top of the balloon drifted away and was later recovered several miles from the crash site. The incident is under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
