Search Crews Recover Body of Missing Kayaker from Chatfield Reservoir

The body of a kayaker who had been missing since Saturday evening at Chatfield Reservoir has been recovered by search crews, with the man in his 30s being identified by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. A second kayaker was able to reach shore and was hospitalized in serious condition. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Marine Evidence Recovery Team retrieved the body, and both underwater and aerial drones were used in the search, which involved crews from multiple sheriff's offices.
