"Vehicle Plunges into Water at 14th Street Pier"

A car crashed into the water at the 14th Street Pier in Virginia Beach early Saturday morning, with the condition of anyone inside the car unknown at this time. Virginia Beach police and the fire department are at the scene, and Chopper 10 captured the police presence and a knocked down gate. The pier, owned by the Sibony family, was originally built in 1950 and is 650 feet long.
