Pilot Rescued from Fiery Helicopter Crash in NH Woods

A pilot was rescued from a burning Hughes TH-55 helicopter that crashed into a wooded area in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, was conscious and alert when transported to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The crash caused a fire that spread to the woods before being contained by firefighters. The NTSB and FAA are investigating the incident.
