Civil Air Patrol Training Flight Ends in Tragic Crash, 2 Dead

A U.S. Civil Air Patrol plane crashed near Palisade Mountain in Northern Colorado, killing two people and injuring a third. The crash occurred during a routine aerial photography training mission. The deceased were identified as pilot Susan Wolber and aerial photographer Jay Rhoten, while co-pilot Randall Settergren was injured and airlifted to a hospital.
