"Seneca Park Zoo Adds Ohio Giraffe to Growing Collection"

The Seneca Park Zoo in Rochester, New York, has welcomed a new addition to its giraffe tower with the arrival of JD, a 2-year-old male giraffe transferred from The Wilds Safari Park in Ohio. The move was made based on a recommendation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The zoo is also expecting another giraffe in the near future, as Iggy, a female giraffe who gave birth last year, is now pregnant again. This news follows the recent diagnosis of cancer in Kipenzi, a 6-year-old giraffe at the zoo. Visitors are invited to meet JD starting this Saturday.
