Robert Irwin's Close Encounter with Late Dad's Snake Species.

Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, was bitten in the face by a carpet python while trying to rescue it from the side of the road. He posted a video of the incident on social media, comparing it to footage of his father being bitten by the same species of snake years earlier. Both Robert and Steve handled the bites with grace and continued their work in wildlife conservation. Steve died in 2006 after being stung by a stingray while filming in the Great Barrier Reef.
