Linden Ashby's brief but eventful comeback to The Young and the Restless as villain Cameron has come to an end after less than a month of terrorizing Sharon Newman. Ashby's request to executive producer/headwriter Josh Griffith was to write his character bad, and Cameron's reign of terror is sure to have repercussions for months to come. Though Cameron appeared to be dead in the June 16 episode, Ashby has expressed some regret that his return engagement is over.
