Dakota Fanning to Star in Apple TV Thriller From Homeland Creator

Apple TV has ordered an untitled thriller series starring and executive produced by Dakota Fanning. The project, from Homeland creator Alex Cary and Sony Pictures Television, moved from a writers’ room to a greenlight. Fanning will play an undercover Treasury agent inside a multibillion-dollar conglomerate who wrestles with her mission and the belief that the heir to corrupt power may be a good man and worthy of love. Cary serves as showrunner and EP, with Julie Gardner (Bad Wolf America), Elle Fanning and Brittany Kahan Ward (Lewellen Pictures) also producing, and Kari Skogland set to direct.
