Travel Photographer of the Year 2025 crowns bold, globally themed images

TPOTY 2025 winners were announced: Athanasios Maloukos earned Overall Travel Photographer of the Year for two ritual-focused series in Zamora, Spain and Konya, Turkey; Dana Allen won Travel Image of the Year with a dust-wathed elephant in Tanzania; Jamie Smart was named Young Travel Photographer of the Year, with other winners highlighting subjects from Siberian fishermen to undersea adventures. The competition drew 20,000+ entries from 160 countries and was judged anonymously by 16 international judges who required RAW files to verify authenticity and to ensure AI did not influence the work.
