Disney World's Star Wars-themed hotel to close permanently in September.

Disney World's Star Wars-themed hotel, the Galactic Starcruiser, is closing down after a year of operation. The immersive experience, marketed as a two-night stay, will take its last bookings from September 28 to 30. The hotel's packages start at $4,800 for two people and include lodging, meals, and admission to Hollywood Studios. Guests board the Halcyon starcruiser, stay in a room with a space view, and interact with Star Wars characters throughout the ship. New bookings are paused until May 26 to accommodate those who made reservations after September.
