Minneapolis Metro Transit Extends Service for Taylor Swift and Pride Events

Metro Transit will offer extended service after Taylor Swift's U.S. Bank Stadium concerts this weekend, reversing their previous decision. Several bus routes already leave downtown Minneapolis after 1 a.m., and the METRO Blue Line has northbound trains that run after midnight. However, with 500,000 people expected to be in downtown Minneapolis this weekend for the Swift concerts, Twin Cities Pride, and the Kiwanis International Convention, the city warns attendees to plan ahead and be aware of street closures and parking rates.
