'How to Dance in Ohio' Musical Set to Hit Broadway This Fall

The musical "How to Dance in Ohio," based on a documentary about a social skills therapy program for autistic individuals, is set to open on Broadway later this year. The production features a cast of seven autistic performers in the central roles and aims to explore the challenges faced by young adults on the autism spectrum in navigating social interactions. The musical had a successful run at Syracuse Stage last year but was cut short due to Covid cases. Casting is still underway, and the show is scheduled to begin previews on November 15th and open on December 10th at the Belasco Theater.
