"Based on a True Story": A Darkly Comic Crime Series with a Killer Podcast Twist

The new Peacock comedy "Based on a True Story" follows a married couple, played by Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina, who become embroiled in a scheme to create a true crime podcast with an active serial killer, played by Tom Bateman.
